These are some of the greatest movies of old times but also some more recent that can inspire a bride and a groom to decorate their wedding cake to have a magnific western wedding cake.

Unforgiven (1992):
The screenplay for the western movie “Unforgiven” initially passed through many hands in the cinema world – almost 19 years. Until it reached in the hands of Clint Eastwood, who turned the story into an excellent movie. I think many have regretted that they missed a chance through their fingers – especially for the film managed to collect four Academy Awards including “Best Movie” – obtained so far by only three western movies.

3:10 to Yuma (2007):
In rare cases remakes of old movies are successful – except in some cases such as the movie “3:10 to Yuma. ” Manufacturers have taken a pretty big risk when they began the production, but it seems it worth it. An acclaimed drama about the life of a cowboy with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale in the lead roles.

The Proposition (2005):
A classic western, known not so much as deserved. A very violent movie with lots and lots of blood everywhere. Everything takes place in the 1800s in Australia. Showing a more cruel and invisible face of the times in which people are shot for fun and honor. You will not find something like this in the books. It’s worth a look!
Lonesome Dove (1989):
Based on a Larry McMurtry novel of somewhat known (only known) is actually a serial number. Though is not a classic film like this type, I felt compelled to mention it since it is quite appreciated by critics around the world as an original production.
Dances with Wolves (1990)
What can I say about this Western..it  won seven Oscars in his time including: Best Director, Best Film, Best Screenplay, etc.. etc.. A very good movie. If you’re a fan of films like this is a shame to have not seen this movie at least 3-4 times. It can be also a great inspiration if you want to create a western wedding cake at your wedding.
