• 1 cup (about 5 grams) of chocolate cookies or chocolate graham cracker crumbs
• 3 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine
• 2 half baskets of strawberries
• 2 cups (12 gr.) semisweet chocolate chips
• 1 / 2 cup water
• 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
• 2 1 / 2 cups of heavy cream, divided
• 1 teaspoon of sugar.

Instructions:
In a bowl, mix well the crumbs and the butter . Place strawberry in halves, touching on each side, pointing to the narrow edge of the pan bottom. Put aside. Put chocolate flakes in the blender. In a small saucepan, warm and mix the water and the corn syrup, let it simmer on low heat for one minute. Then pour over the chocolate flakes and stir until smooth. Cool to the room temperature.

Meanwhile, in the large bowl of mixer, knead 1 and 1 / 2 cup of cream to form stiff peaks. With a rubber spatula, place the cooled chocolate into whipped cream to be fully mixed. Pour into a prepared pan, of top level(chunks of strawberries could be spread over the chocolate mixture). Cover and refrigerate, between 4-24 hours. 2 hours before serving, in a medium mixer bowl, beat the remaining cream to form soft peaks.

Add sugar, beating to form stiff peaks. Remove from pan and place the cake on a serving plate. Using a pastry bag with star tip and pipe with a piece of cream on top of the cake. Arrange the remaining strawberry halves on the whipped cream. To serve your tasty wedding cake baked at home, cut into slices with the knife.
