Pablo Picasso once remarked: “Why do two colors, put one next to the other, sing? Can one really explain this? No. Just as one can never learn how to paint”. Colors fill our daily life and without them the world would be submerged in a vast darkness.

Red is the color of passion, so it is often associated with joy, youth, happiness and has a relaxing or soothing effect; the bright red could stimulate the energy of the body and increase the blood pressure and the number of heartbeats while the orange is a bright and happy color, symbolizing warmth and energy. In some exotic culture like the Japanese culture, red is associated with the ephemeral cherry tree blossoms or sakura and the young Japanese warriors, who gave their lives on the battlefields while orange is seen as the symbol of love and happiness. In Hinduism the Sacral chakra is orange and is associated with creativity and fertility and the reproductive system by stimulating emotions and the sexuality.

I have to repeat myself: these colors have important significances but to use them both on the same piece of paper may seem inappropriate since they are such bright colors so you have to be careful when selecting the proper shades of red and orange so that in combination they don’t give a feeling of lack of refinement.
You can even use the classical tissue or the double envelope to send out the wedding invitations, if you choose this theme for the entire wedding. The wording etiquette is mostly used on the formal and traditional wedding invitations, but if you are having an unconventional wedding ceremony you can probably get away easy just by writing the essential information about the wedding: the name of the bride and groom, it is also worth mentioning the name of the parents or the name of the hosts which can either be the bride’s parents, the groom’s parents or both families; the location of the ceremony, the date and time are also very important to be mentioned and the RSPV indicates that the couple waits for an attendance response from their guests and the sooner, the better.
