You will always found special and unique fruits or pastries that sometimes aren’t common for a wedding. Donald Trump and Melania Knauss celebrated their wedding with a seven tiered cake 5-foot tall that was filled with Grand Marnier buttercream. Not only that, it had almost 3000 white icing roses.

Jessica Simpson and husband Nick Lachey decided to choose a traditional but also sophisticated red velvet wedding cake with five hexagonal tiers. The Victorian cake was decorated with sugar-paste flowers. Nas and Kelis ordered for their wedding a five-tiered cake covered with 23Kt gold and sugar roses. The theme of the wedding was gold and green and the cake had to match everything.

Liza Minelli and David Guest had a sponge cake that cost $40,000. The cake had 12 tiers and almost six feet high. Actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes had at their wedding in 2006 a white chocolate mousse cake with five tiers. The cake was decorated with marzipan roses and white chocolate chips.

The wedding of Carmen Electra and musician David Navarro was really luxurious. Their wedding cake had four tiers of Oreo cheesecake, chocolate cake and strawberry shortcake. The cake had Swarovski to match with the wedding dress.

Melissa Joan Hart and rocker Mark Wilkerson had a romantic wedding in Florence, Italy. The wedding cake was also romantic with pistachio and purple flowers.

Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith had a wedding cake designed by Mike Turner. The six-tier carrot cake was decorated with roses, gardenias, a cascade of orange blossoms, white roses and stephanotis.

If you want your own celebrity wedding cake but not as expensive as theirs here are some tips and trends to follow:
-  Size: most celebrity wedding cakes have at least 3 tiers. They are huge and expensive. If you don’t afford a multi-tiered wedding cake you can create icing layers to appear bigger.
-  Flowers: most celebrities choose exotic flowers that are not easy to find. For a special effect use fresh flowers: tiger lilies or roses.
-  Flavors: it is known that celebrity use strange and special food combinations. Don’t be afraid to mix flavors and personalize your wedding cake.

Celebrity wedding cakes are special, grandiose and luxurious. You can have a special wedding cake too if you are creative and make crazy combinations.

    When I first read the title of this article, I imagined you were going to speak of celebrity pictures on different wedding cakes but you’re article is way more interesting. I really don’t see the point of having a gold wedding cake. I think it’s bad taste but who am I to judge?
