Cat Wedding Cake Topper




Even if the choice of the wedding cake and the topper is the last important point on the to do list, it would be best if you find a genius of cakes quickly. Firstly and most importantly, find out if the location where the reception will be held outside allows bringing a pastry.




As one of the most important moments in your life, the bride and her groom are the main characters and can do everything to be dislodged from a fairy tale written by you two. This special event should remain in your memory throughout the lifetime. Many couples have for sure a cat at home they love wery much and if they want,they can use on their wedding cake a cat topper to express the kindness of this animal.

The Egyptians called the cat Mau, a word which means “to see”.  This name also refers to the meow of this animal. It is assumed that the cat was first domesticated 5,000 years ago, but some experts say it has kept some behavior and instinct which it had initially. The ancient Egyptians were fascinated by the detached and aloof cat’s behavior, which led them to believe that this animal was a heavenly creature, and always treated him as a divine being. For example if a person on the street discovered a dead cat called more people and start to mourn, to remove the suspicion that she/he had killed her. In Egypt, killing a cat, even inadvertently was punishable by death.  If a household cat died of old age or illness, all family members buried it with great pomp and a cut off their eyebrows as a sign of suffering.

Most of the dead cats were mummified and buried with jewelry, perfumes and even treasures, many believe that the future will bring wealth and prosperity to those who loved the cat. Also, the Pharaohs always cared as growing the number of cats in the territory of Egypt, out beyond their borders were strictly forbidden.  Egyptians believed that the cat, with the quality of the fault which marred harvests small rodents, and the proper state of agriculture and contribute significantly to the prosperity of the people. Despite the fact that Egyptians have tried to keep their monopoly, several Greek merchants stolen, during a visit to Egypt, a few domestic cats that have been found useful because of their hunting skills.

So, using a cat topper for your wedding cake may raise question marks  for some of the guests, but perhaps this will be a good thing because it can open new topics for discussion based on the use of a cat topper and the bride and the groom can offer to those interested in information about the many symbols of this wonderful animal.

Many cultures regarded the cat as a symbol of freedom and in each territory captured cats sucking some believing that they are the symbol of their good intentions. Usually this custom was due to the extraordinary spread one who got the cats, which have increased sharply mainly because of their ability to relieve the man of the hard work to catch mice. Only  monasteries and sailors also considered cats as beings with magical powers that protect against evil. In the fifteenth century divine being, the cat became a demonic being considered a sign of evil and priests worship the cat thinking it was a page and usually in defiance of  God. After that period has been exceeded, but the cat has rehabilitated its image and came to be considered a good and loved pet.
