Beach Themed Wedding Cake Toppers

Wedding cake toppers are cake decorations, that are put on top of the cake to symbolize something about marriage or about the wedding ceremony. Some people choose cake toppers representing a groom and a bride, others prefer more modern figurines, like atypical bride and groom with stylish shapes, or anything but a groom and a bride. There are many examples to support this and manufacturers make more and more types of cake toppers, for different themed weddings. They are improving their artistic skills with each cake topper they make, and the results are impressing.

Do you like themed weddings? I am thinking, for example, of a wedding with a 1930′s theme: those times’ specific outfits for bride, groom and guests too, decorations and music. Or something different: a goth themed wedding, which means long, dark colored gowns, the specific elegance of the gothic fashion and those morbid looks and make-up, if I may say so, but nevertheless, at least interesting. But because it is still warm outside and some of you might live in warm and sunny parts of the planet, I’m thinking of a beach theme for a wedding. Sand, ocean breeze, seashells and many more others. I believe that a wedding dress having little seashells sown is pretty nice.

Also, the decorations must be appropriate so that everything will match. The wedding cake can be blue, like the color of water, with decorations such as fish, waves or little boats. Talking about this, what comes to my mind next are the beach themed wedding cake toppers. Whether it implies brides and grooms or not, beach themed wedding cake toppers are many to choose from. The preferred decorations for them are sand, palm trees, seashells or anything else to suggest the idea of a beach and seaside. They are usually made from plastic, but some culinary artists manage to build these beach themed wedding cake toppers from sugar or marzipan! How skillful, don’t you agree?

Which kind would you prefer? The stylish, modernistic ones or the funny ones implying couples of the future man and wife? Think well about a beach themed wedding ceremony. It might be a great idea for a wedding, taking into consideration that it is an outdoor type of wedding, which is more enjoyable, in my opinion.
