The current tradition of the wedding cakes will not get out of fashion, no matter what trends adopt the modern wedding cakes. If you like what you see, take some samples of what they have. Once you’ve chosen someone, begins the process of inspiration. The wedding cake in general is the center of the whole party. Browse pictures in stores, online, visit websites for inspiration and ideas and write things that matter to you or you want to try to include them. Everything from a delicious dessert, which you’ve tried at a nice restauran, to the  walnut pie of your grandparents, can help to bring to life you favorite wedding cake.

A bakery can excel in taste, but not in construction, while others create masterpieces that are so delicious. True bakers can do both. If you already have a specific taste, ask if the baker is willing to work after a recipe. Maybe you want an unusual flavor or one that is not on the list. Ask for a quick test, to not have surprises later. Another thing to watch out for is how well the wedding cake will be kept on the whole wedding. For example, the butter cream icing, although delicious, do not keep well after sitting for a while, fondant is a much better option for wedding cakes that withstand the heat, humidity, or a period without cold.

They can be of different sizes, at the top being generally the lowest being returned to the couple or to have the same diameter, depending on your preference and the number of guests. You will pay a rental fee for the support that it will be returned to you when you return it back. You can choose any kind of filling, because metal plates are very stable. Choose carefully the bakery / catering company that can give your the wedding cake that you want and you will surely have a successful party.

Once you’ve made the choice, the confectioner will arrange a tasting to complete the rest of the details in writing. The contract should describe the specific of the wedding cake, including flavors, colors, decorations, top arrangement, the date and time of delivery, location. You need to check and confirm that all services are included in the final price of the contract. Usually a deposit of 50% is required at the bakery and the remainder make no later than 5 days before the wedding.

In the case of formal dinners, you can opt to serve a simple dessert to the meal, in such cases you may choose to have the wedding cake to be smaller and so will also reduce the expenses. If you plan coincides with this one it would be better to tell at the bakery about the decision.
