Making a wedding cake with edible autumn leaves:
For those who do their own wedding cake, the development of edible leaves is quite easy. One of the ways is to use icing or fondant, which you cut into the shape of leaves. Color the fondant with the color you wish (brown, yellow, orange, red). No matter what kind of autumn leaves you get to do, make sure you store them in airtight containers and, if necessary, keep them refrigerated to keep them safe before the wedding. A good rule of thumb is that most edible decoration can be kept for up to two weeks, and less those that have perishable ingredients.

Decorating ideas for the wedding cake:
The colors of autumn weddings are stunning in a wedding party and decorations as part of the wedding. Continue the theme by making a wedding cake with flavors which give the impression of the fall season and decorate it with vibrant leaves as a topper.
Another idea is to make a wedding cake with leaf rust and bark – a desert that replicates the atmosphere of autumn forest – green marzipan, leaf rust and chocolate bark over a French charlotte. An elegant-looking treat! Or you can use blueberry cake and the marzipan leaves - a wedding cake for a perfect and stylish wedding in a light day of fall. Fluffy blackberry cream and pastry dough with butter are dressed in white fondant and decorated with warm colors leaves.
