They are considered more fashionable than you'd think these days. Don't accessorize. Accessories do not come cheap, yet a simple cake can be very elegant. You can use a fake bottom tier. You will have a big beautiful cake and no one will notice a thing. Be careful about frosting and icing. Tasty doesn't necessarily have to be beautiful or expensive.

These days you can rent a beautiful cake to cut and photograph and serve a very affordable cake directly from the kitchen.Don't tell your baker it's for a wedding. He will make you a simpler cake for a special occasion for a lot less money.Use a cupcake wedding cake. Cupcakes can be displayed on a tiered stand. It will cost a lot less than a traditional wedding cake and it is considered a very fashionable alternative to the traditional wedding cakes.



These are only a few ideas you can choose from and you could probably come up with a few more yourself. You will definitely be able to have a good looking wedding cake at an affordable price. And don't think that because you're choosing an affordable wedding cake you will not get the cake of your dreams. A cheap cake doesn't necessarily look or taste cheap.
